MEET YOUR INSTRUCTORS
Tom and Brooke fearlessly lead the team at camp! Leo is a puppet, he won’t be in charge of anything (phew). Joining them are a team of qualified young adult artists and kids workers from the USA and NI.
Tom is a professional illustrator and graphic designer. Brooke is also an artist and a trained social worker. Originally from Pennsylvania, USA, they have 15+ years experience working with children and teenagers.
They have lived in Northern Ireland for 7 years and enjoy long walks on the beach (no, seriously — White Rocks, Dundrum or Bundoran!)

PARTY CREATE! ART BOOKLET
A custom art booklet to take home everything your child learns during camp!
We’ve designed and printed our very own Cartooning Camp booklets with over 25 lessons, visual examples and demonstrations, and plenty of space to draw on high quality art pad paper. This booklet will help your kids retain what they learn while also being able to look back at how they’ve improved!
LIVE DRAWING DEMOS
Draw With Our Instructors
Each camp features state-of-the-art live drawing technology. Using iPads, capturing equipment and LED screens, we display what’s happening on our art pads live for the campers. This makes following along easy and highly interactive.
We’ll draw together and practice techniques live!
DRAW YOUR FAVOURITES!
You Name It, We’ll Draw It!
If your child loves to draw Superheroes, Cartoon Characters, or Famous Animal Toons, your child will walk away with a better understanding of how to draw their Favourites! We’ll be learning shape language, texture and values to breakdown our all-time favourite characters. You child will come home with an art pad full of characters you know and love.
SPECIAL PRO ARTIST GUESTS
We want to help our campers see what is possible.
That is why our camps feature video interviews with real-life art and animation pros! Artists like Tom Bancroft, a former Disney animator and the creator of Mulan’s Mushu. Your child will learn from real artists working at animation companies like Disney, Nickelodeon, Pixar and Marvel.

Each camp has varying lengths of days and times. Because of this, each location has it’s own fee. We want to make our camps accessible to all families, so our camps run roughly £5/hour per child.
You can find the fees on each location’s registration page below.

Yes! If you have more than one child eligible to attend, please select the family discount option at check out.

We are graciously hosted by community churches across Ireland/NI for our camps. We partner with trained and vetted kids workers from each location to put on our camps.
While Cartooning Camp is not a religious event, our ethos is faith-based and we encourage our attendees to connect with our host’s kids programmes.

No, if your location’s schedule includes full days, please bring a bagged lunch each day. Snacks and drinks will be provided at all locations.

We provide all the materials for the camp, but if your child has a favourite art pad or pencils they are welcome to bring them. Please do not bring markers, scissors or paints.
